HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR SWEET BEAU Hello everyone!! Hope all is well with you and yours and you are enjoying these hot lazy days of summer. Today
is a very special day in the hearts of all those that love Beau – it’s his birthday. He would
have been 4 yrs. old this today. As I sit here thinking about him, it’s hard to believe that 4 yrs.
have come and gone since we all rushed to the hospital and waited anxiously for that precious little boy to finally arrive.
That little bundle of joy - Beau. Beau, the little boy with the huge blue eyes and an infectious
smile. Beau, who loved his momma and daddy so much. Beau, Kayla’s cousin, best
friend and “little brudder”. Grammy’s “Beau Diddley” and momma’s “pumkin”.
Beau loved to ride with Grand-dad in his golf cart and go riding on his boat. He loved to hit golf
balls with his dada and he loved to feed the birds at Ma and Hodgie’s house. He loved to ride with dadda in his big
truck and go looking for deer and hunting for the dogs when they decided to go running wild. He loved going
to “Wally World” with momma, Kayla and Grammy and he wouldn’t let you leave if there was something he wanted
to buy. He loved to go to Logans and sit in the big corner booth with momma, Kayla, Auntie Julie and Grammy.
He and Kayla would eat nuggets and fries and make a mess and he charmed everyone that was sitting close to us.
He grew to love fire trucks, a red fireman’s hat and especially fireman Jake. He loved his
little red wagon. Beau loved so many people and was loved by so many people. Beau was
loved by his family, by his friends, by his doctors, nurses and caregivers, by people he never met but learned of him through
friends/family and this website. Beau touched the hearts of thousands of people all over the world and
even today he continues to touch the lives of so many people. God had a plan for Beau’s life. Jeremiah 29:11 I
know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Little
did we know that June night four years ago what God’s plan was for Beau’s life. And, while we still may not understand
that plan and while we wish that Beau was still here with us, we know there was a purpose behind God’s plan.
I believe that Beau was God’s little missionary, his little angel sent here to minister to and touch the lives
of all he came in contact with. Beau lives on in our hearts, in this website and in Beau’s Buddies
Cancer Fund and all the children/adults that have been helped through that organization. He especially
lives on in the little red wagons on 2 West and through the children that use and love those little red wagons. Beau was only
2 ½ when he went home to be with Jesus but he left behind a legacy – a legacy of love and compassion –
he showed us how to love, how to be happy and make the most of each day. God gave a vision to a friend
of ours during Beau’s last hours – Beau was riding on Jesus’ shoulders like a child rides on their daddy’s
shoulders and after going thru an area of darkness they came to a beautiful green meadow with a playground. Jesus
put Beau down and he ran off and started playing. I know God greeted Beau with open arms that day and said,
“well done my child – welcome home”. Psalm 21:3 You welcomed him with rich blessings
and placed a crown of pure gold on his head. We love you and miss you Beau!! Have a wonderfully blessed 4th
birthday in heaven with Jesus and your friends Lillie and Evangeline. Kayla hopes you will have cheeseburgers,
nuggets, fries and MM’s with your cake. God Bless!! Love, Grammy

Beau's Little Red Wagon Good afternoon all. I hope you are enjoying this “summer weather” we have been having.
Grammy can’t take the heat like she used to so I would be happy if the temps got back to about 72 degrees.
But I still thank God for the beautiful days and the rain that “makes the garden” grow as Kayla would say.
Today I want to share with you a thank you note Jennifer received from a family whose little girl had to spend the
night in the hospital. Mr. & Mrs. Stanley, A few weeks ago our daughter Janey had an allergic reaction which resulted
in an overnight stay at PCMH. She was given a steroid that staff warned us may "wire" her for a few hours.
Little did we know that she would be up all night. The only thing that she wanted was to be pulled around and around
the nurse's station in the little red wagon that you graciously donated in your son's honor. My husband and I took thirty
minute increments until she finally fell asleep at 6 AM! We really do not know how we would have gotten through that
night without that red wagon. I know that your son touched many lives. Your generosity has touched us in more
ways than you can imagine. That little red wagon brought a lot of comfort to a very scared little girl and her parents.
Thank you so much! Jim & Marsha Hall God continues to use Beau each and every day to touch the lives
of so many. Jennifer said the wagon Janey rode in was actually Beau’s wagon that they had given to
the hospital. It was the “original” wagon that was outfitted with the IV pole, the wagon that
went on countless trips to McDonalds, Cold Stone and the “duck pond” at Brody. The wagon that
took countless trips around the nurses’ station so he could “have a parade and throw candy to the staff”.
The wagon he loved so much. Little did we know when Beau got the wagon what it would come to mean.
If you watched the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon this past week, you may have seen one of those little
red wagons – a daddy was pulling his child in the wagon. I can just image how much joy those wagons
have brought to the countless number of children who have found themselves staying at the Children’s Hospital.
Luke 24:51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.
Beau may be in heaven with
Jesus but he continues to be a blessing not only to his family but to all those that hear about him and to all the children
that have ridden in one of the little red wagons. Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed
us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing
in Christ. While
we all continue to miss Beau and wish that he was still here with us, we know that he is healthy and happy in heave with Jesus.
We know that God will continue to bless Beau’s family each day and He will continue to use Beau and his story to reach
out and bless others as well. Beau’s Buddies Cancer Fund has some exciting things coming up
this fall so stay tuned for news about those endeavors. Give you family members a big hug and kiss and
tell them how much you love them!! God Bless!! Grammy
