Beau and Aaron
silentauction2/BeauAaronplaying.JPGsilentauction2/Aaron.jpgGood afternoon all!!  It’ been awhile since I have written.  It’s been a busy time for all and it often seems we are all going in so many directions.  I pray you are having a very blessed week.  It’s been so refreshing and uplifting to see all the trees blooming and the little yellow buttercups springing up everywhere. However, I come to you today with a heavy heart to ask for prayer for a special little boy named Aaron.  Jennifer sent out an email this morning asking us to pray for one of Beau’s buddies from the hospital.  He and Beau were diagnosed about the same time.  Aaron had a tumor in his lung and he had surgery a week after Beau so they were usually in the hospital and the clinic about the same time.  Even though Aaron was little older than Beau they became good friends and they played together whenever they were in the hospital or in the clinic.  He is a precious little boy with a big smile, huge heart and sweet spirit.  Jennifer and Aaron’s mom became friends and they have tried to keep in touch over the last 1 ½ yrs.  Aaron went into remission but relapsed last May.  He was unable to have surgery again because the tumor had spread so much.  He has been receiving chemo and radiation but these have failed to work and the cancer has spread.  His little body is so tired.  He has fought the good fight and has kept that sweet loving spirit through it all.  Jennifer went to the hospital last night and spent several hours with Aaron and his mom. Please take a moment to lift up a prayer for Aaron, his mom, his brother and other family members.  Please pray that if God chooses not to heal Aaron here on earth that He will keep Aaron comfortable until he is ready to bring him home to heaven.  Also, please pray that God grant his mom, brother and other family members the grace and strength to deal with each day and what that day brings and when the time comes for Aaron to go home to heaven that his family will find peace and be able to rest in God’s love.  We must remember first and foremost that Aaron is God’s child lent to his parents for his time here on earth.  Our heavenly Father loves Aaron and cares about him and his family and hates to see Aaron suffering even more than his family does.  I believe with all my heart that Aaron’s special angels are surrounding him and watching over him.  Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.    Hebrews 4:16 Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.   As I looked at Aaron and Beau’s picture today, it brought back many memories and tears sprang from my eyes.  We miss our little “Beau Diddley” so much and for a moment I remembered what Kayla said to me recently and wished that it could be true.  She told me (after looking at the video of him riding in the fire truck) “Grammy I wish that video was magic and we could just jump right into it and see Beau and hug him and kiss him and play with him – I miss him Grammy.”  What I wouldn’t give to be able to jump into that video and hold him and kiss on him even if just for a moment.  God Bless!!!  Love, Grammy
